Cellular phones are awesome, no one can argue with that. There are so many different styles out there! It doesn’t matter what type you want. It could be a touch screen phone, or it could be an old style flip phone. So many choices, but so few carriers have the one you want. This is a disappointment and an inconvenience to many that would like to use one phone on another network. The problem is that many of them are locked.

So why wouldn’t a person simply use the network that goes with the phone? There could be tons of different reasons. Perhaps they have an outstanding balance or maybe they simply do not like that network. Remember, it’s all a matter of preference really!

Because people would like to use their phone on any network, a new type of business has popped up that involves unlocking phones and making them usable on said networks. For example, an iPhone could be made to work on Cricket if one was bored enough. The problem is that unlocked phones are incredibly expensive. You could pay up to five hundred dollars for some of the more popular models. In other cases you might end up paying ten thousand.

But with this expense comes an opportunity for you to make a profit! Can you imagine? It is actually possible to buy these unlocked phones in a wholesale manner. This means that you might end up getting an unlocked cellular phone for around $200-$400. This seems like quite a bit of money, but think of what you can charge your customers. The amazing part is that they will actually pay that kind of money to HAVE an unlocked phone!

So in theory you should be able to buy a few dozen of these phones for what appears to be a high price to you, then you could sell them all at the higher price of $1000. If there is a better way to make money, then we have yet to see it, even if this does require a large initial investment. So long as you do everything right however, you will be able to make a profit and more than likely become financially independent.
