Wholesale Suppliers

-Wholesale Directories like Salehoo and World Wide Brands have a very safe platform and it is very easy to navigate.  They offer you help in every aspect of your business.  There are directories, however, that offer nothing more than a collection of links that may or may not work.  Many of these sites do not investigate to see the authenticity of suppliers so be careful.

-Google- Every supplier with a website can be found on Google, however, the best suppliers often do not appear because their search results may not appear before the first 20 pages so be prepared to research.  Many real wholesalers do not have an internet presence.

-Forums-  Maybe not everyone will give away their secrets but you will find some recommendations.

-Trade Shows- Nothing beats meeting a supplier face to face so if you are serious about building a long term supplier relationship this is a good idea.

Be aware of scammers claiming to be real wholesale suppliers! Look for:

-Supplier contact details with a proper phone number, address, and email address.
-Website history - Use a whois search to find out how long they have been registered.
-Payment-If at first they claim to accept paypal and major credit cards and then ask for a wire transfer *it is probably a scam!
-The wholesaler doesnt request your business license or sales tax ID (registering your business and getting a sales tax ID will enable you to deal with bigger suppliers)
-Some scammers will steal content from other websites with fake logos.
